Verdant Spirits & Malmaison Dundee Collaborate to Unveil Newly Refurbished Verdant Terrace Bar
Verdant Spirits and Malmaison Dundee have announced the opening of The Verdant Terrace, a collaboration bringing together two names synonymous with Dundee’s iconic hospitality to create a Summer venue that promises to be at the heart of the city’s social scene.
The newly refurbished Terrace on Whitehall Crescent officially opens its doors to the public on Friday, coinciding with the highly anticipated European Championship match between Germany and Scotland.
Featuring a fresh contemporary design, floral installation and large screens, the opening also sees the launch of an exclusive Verdant cocktail list created by Malmaison Food and Beverage Manager, Amy Matthew.
Joe Barber, Commercial Director of Verdant Spirits, said: “Partnering with Malmaison Dundee for the Verdant Terrace is a special milestone for us. Verdant was born in Dundee, and being part of this project allows us to celebrate our roots and contribute to the city’s vibrant culture. We are proud to offer a unique cocktail experience, created especially for The Terrace that reflects the spirit and creativity of Dundee.”
The launch of the Verdant Terrace, including screens on the terrace ensuring fans can enjoy the football in style, is perfectly timed with a series of major summer events in Dundee, including Student Graduations, Dundee’s Food & Drink Festival, and Dundee Cocktail Week
General Manager of Malmaison Dundee, Dale Simpson, echoed this enthusiasm: “The Verdant Terrace promises to be a vibrant addition to Dundee’s social scene. With its prime location, the terrace is set to become the go-to spot for both locals and visitors. This collaboration with Verdant Spirits has allowed us to elevate our guest offering, making it a true celebration of Dundee’s heritage and innovation with the creation of an exclusive new Verdant Cocktail menu.”
In addition to the European Championship screenings, the Verdant Terrace Bar will host regular live music performances and a resident DJ every Saturday. A special highlight will be performances by the popular Huge Mouse Band and The Birky Piper prior to each of Scotland’s matches.
